Dr Adam Gordon is a gastroenterologist and his practice incorporates general gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy. Adam has a particular interest in bowel cancer screening and has significant experience in this area.

Dr Adam Gordon is a gastroenterologist and his practice incorporates general gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy. Adam has a particular interest in bowel cancer screening and has significant experience in this area.   Adam is an endoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, and he has served as a member of a working group for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Register. Adam's training in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy is recognized by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 

 

Adam graduated with his MBBS degree at Monash University in 1997 with honours. He subsequently completed his advanced training in gastroenterology at The Alfred Hospital in 2006. Adam completed his MD degree (Doctor of Medicine) at Monash University in 2009. Adam is Chair and past Secretary of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia Private Practice Network. Adam is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association. Adam was a member of the senior medical staff at The Alfred Hospital for 15 years, and he was also involved in teaching and research at The Alfred Hospital in his role as adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University Medical School.
