With comprehensive onsite medical and nursing support, our one-on-one physiotherapy care and low infection rates, we have a reputation as an orthopaedic and joint replacement centre of excellence.

HIP  - Total hip replacement, open reduction and internal fixation for fractured hip and femur.

KNEE  - knee replacement (unilateral knee replacement and total knee replacement), knee reconstructions including anterior cruciate and multi ligament repairs, high tibial osteotomy.

SHOULDER  – rotator cuff repairs, soft tissue damage repairs, shoulder release (to increase range of movement), unstable shoulder repairs, total shoulder replacement and arthroscopy.

ELBOW  – soft tissue repairs, elbow replacement & arthroscopy.

HANDS – repair of congenital conditions, fractures, carpel tunnel release, release of Dupytren's contracture, nerve and muscle releases.

FOOT & ANKLE - fracture repairs, ligament repairs, Achilles tendon repairs, peroneal tendon repairs & reconstruction, fore foot reconstruction and repair of bunions.

SPINAL SURERY - cervical spine surgery, thoracic spine surgery, lumbar spine surgery, procedural pain management, spinal trauma, spinal tumours and scoliosis

 

After orthopaedic surgery, you may need ongoing physiotherapy and support prior to returning home. Rehabilitation will be discussed with you during your hospital stay and should this be required you will be visited by the Discharge Planner who will be able to give you all the relevant information.
