Dr Ben Dowdle is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on upper extremity reconstructive surgery. He manages the full spectrum of upper limb conditions, including hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder problems.
Ben graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 with first class honours. After completing internship and residency at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, he commenced orthopaedic surgery training in 2016. He attained his Fellowship with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020.
Ben has completed a further two years of sub-speciality training in upper extremity reconstructive surgery. This included post-fellowship education and training (PFET) in hand, wrist and microsurgery with the Australian Hand Surgery Society.
