George is a fully qualified Hand, Plastic & Reconstructive surgeon with a clinical interest in hand & wrist surgery, burns, and microsurgical limb reconstruction.

George is a fully qualified Hand, Plastic & Reconstructive surgeon. George obtained his medical degree from the University of Tasmania in 2010 after growing up in Hobart. George worked as a junior doctor in many hospitals in Melbourne before commencing specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2017.

 

Following completion of plastic surgical training in Melbourne George completed two orthopaedic hand surgery fellowships, including The Brisbane Hand & Upper Limb Fellowship, and The Gold Coast University Hospital Hand fellowship.

 

George is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society (AHSS), and a Young International Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

 

George has a clinical interest in hand & wrist surgery, burns, and microsurgical limb reconstruction. Currently held public appointments include Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Alfred Health and St Vincent’s Hospital and his private work now includes Linacre Private Hospital in Hampton.
